In the past few years there has been a movement toward deeper filters. Many systems have been developed with 4 inch and 5 inch filter boxes. The filters that are installed in these boxes have more surface area, lower pressure drop, high efficiencies and longer life. Unfortunately, if you did not have the right filter box, you could not obtain the advantages of the deeper filters. The new Return Air Grill Filter is the answer. It is a 4 inch filter that fits in a standard one inch filter grille. The Return Air Grill Filter gives you MERV 10 efficiency and has a pressure drop of just 0.14 wg. The MERV 11 has a pressure drop of 0.17wg. They will last 6 months or longer in most applications. The one-inch header on the front of the filter ensures that the filter will allow for no air bypass. This ensures a cleaner, more efficiently operating HVAC system and better indoor air quality.
